Amasing/ Music for Life Orchestral Project Opportunity Dear Parents/ Guardians I hope you are all well. We are incredibly excited to be launching another set of youth orchestral workshop sessions organised by AmaSing and Music For Life. In these FREE sessions your children will be be playing together with some of our professional musicians and tutors from Music for Life. The sessions will run from 11-2pm at the Chester Catholic High School and will be led by Musical Director and professional composer/ musician Alex Dee. This will be a fantastic opportunity for your child to play and learn from other talented musicians and learn a bit about music as a career. We will be playing original music which has been composed by hundreds of primary school children in AmaSing workshops all over North Wales, Wirral, Liverpool and Cheshire in our projects and will be part of our big theatre shows in 2023. Dates for orchestra are :- 29th January 12th Feb 26th Feb 12th March 26th March 16th April 23rd April 30th April 7th May (full day with professional musicians and tutors) 28th May 11th June Performances:- The orchestra will be working towards it first performance at the Deva Stadium. Here they will have the opportunity to perform at the Chester FC/ AmaSing Family Arts/ Sport Festival on 13th May 2023 where they will accompany the Amasing Choir. The second performance of the summer will be at one of the Amasing Floral Pavilion Shows held on the 12-14th June. (Orchestral Date TBC)
